How it unfolds
The opening is a fruit basket: sweet orange, blackcurrant (tart and slightly green), apple, pear and peach. It is generous and immediately pleasing.
The heart is floral and sunny: jasmine sambac, a more indolic and fleshier variety than common jasmine, dominates, surrounded by orange blossom and rose.
The base brings the contrast: earthy patchouli and creamy sandalwood, softened by vanilla and white musk. Without this base, the whole would remain a fruity floral with no depth.
Gold or Silver?
These are not two concentrations of the same juice. Gold is the fruity-floral reading, warmer, feminine-leaning and evening-oriented. Silver is fresh and aromatic — lavender, mint, cardamom — clearly more masculine. As the bottle is identical, only the look sets them apart on the shelf.
Usage tips
- Two to three sprays on the pulse points.
- Do not rub your wrists — the top fruits are the most volatile.
- On moisturized skin, the musky base lasts noticeably longer.
- Keep the bottle away from light and heat.
