Vitamin C pads for a radiant complexion
The lotion is based first on sea buckthorn water (Hippophae Rhamnoides Water), the first ingredient on the list, ahead of water itself. To this are added:
- 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid: a stabilised vitamin C derivative, less fragile than the pure acid. It helps revive radiance and even out the complexion, in a more gradual way.
- Niacinamide, well placed in the formula: for the look of dark spots and a more even complexion.
- Gluconolactone and lactic acid: a light exfoliation, completed by the embossed side of the pad.
- Panthenol, allantoin, hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan: hydration and comfort.
- Fermented lemon peel extract and peptides: in smaller amounts.
The formula also contains essential oils (palmarosa, citronella, litsea cubeba) and the allergens that come with them, including limonene, linalool and geraniol. Worth knowing if your skin reacts to fragrances.
How to use it
Once a day, morning or evening, after cleansing. Sweep the embossed side over the whole face, from the centre outwards, avoiding the eye area and the lips. Turn the pad over and smooth with the soft side to work in the rest of the lotion. Do not rinse, then continue with serum and cream. On days when the complexion looks dull, the brand suggests leaving a pad for five to ten minutes on one area, like a mini mask. In the morning, finish with sun protection. On days when you use a retinol or another exfoliant, leave the pads aside.
Which skin it suits
Dull or uneven complexions, small dark spots and marks left by old blemishes, normal to combination skin. Sensitive skin should start every other day.
