How it unfolds

The opening is both gourmand and spicy: the pear is juicy and light, the praline brings sugar and a note of toasted almond, and the saffron counters this sweetness with its leathery facet. This sweet-spicy contrast is the hallmark of the style.

The heart narrows to a single note: Bulgarian rose, fresher and greener than Damask rose. It serves as a hinge between the fruits of the top and the woods of the base.

The base is the densest part: cashmere wood and white musk for comfort, oakmoss for the green, damp note of the forest floor, vanilla sugar for roundness, and oud for resinous depth. It is this oud that justifies the name, even though it is not dominant: it structures rather than occupies.

Who it is for, and when

Unisex. The gourmand-woody profile works mainly in cool weather and in the evening; the fruity opening allows daytime wear at a reduced dose.

Usage tips

Two sprays are enough: the oud-oakmoss base is tenacious.
Do not rub your wrists, it breaks up the praline and the saffron.
On clothing, the woody trace lingers for several days.
