A lagoon-blue serum, as fluid as thickened water, which spreads over the face and neck leaving a fresh, slightly dewy finish. A Korean hydrating serum with bamboo water and hyaluronic acid
First particularity: the formula does not start with water, but with bamboo water, rich in minerals. It serves as the base for several complementary humectants: glycerin, raffinose, and sodium hyaluronate in simple, cross-linked and hydrolysed forms. Together, they attract water and hold it in the upper layers, which gives skin a plumper feel to the touch.
Second particularity: its colour. It comes from guaiazulene, a blue pigment valued for its calming effect on the look of heated skin. Panthenol and centella extract reinforce this soothing side, while niacinamide helps even out the look of the complexion. A bouquet of seaweeds (hijiki, sargassum, kelp, sea grapes) and a small dose of PDRN, under the name Sodium DNA, complete a formula mainly geared to hydration.
How to use
Once the toner is on, morning and evening, place two or three drops on the face and neck, then pat in. Applied to still-damp skin, hyaluronic acid captures water better. Always close with a cream: without it, the retained water ends up evaporating. The serum pairs with a retinol or a vitamin C, as long as you apply it first and let each layer sink in.
Which skin is it for
Dehydrated skin of all types, including oily and combination skin that wants water without grease. Sensitive skin and skin that feels tight after a strong active also find it useful. Very dry skin will use it as a first step, but will need a nourishing cream on top.
