A light, almost melting cream that you pat on with the tip of your ring finger and that disappears without making the under-eye area shine. This Korean eye cream from COSRX comes in 25 ml: a very small amount per eye is enough, morning and evening, just before your face cream.
A Korean eye cream with snail mucin and peptides
The list opens with snail secretion filtrate, placed first. On an area where the skin is thin and receives little sebum, this filtrate serves above all to hydrate and soften: the eye contour looks more relaxed and the fine lines linked to dryness are less noticeable.
Then come five peptides: copper tripeptide-1, acetyl hexapeptide-8, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7. Peptides are among the best-documented actives in cosmetics, but their effects remain modest and gradual. Allow several weeks of regular use before judging the skin texture. Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, adenosine and panthenol complete the formula for eyes that look less tired.
Snail mucin is of animal origin: this eye cream is not vegan.
How to use
After the essence or serum, place the equivalent of a grain of rice on your fingertip for each eye. Place small dots under the eye and along the orbital bone, then pat from the inside outwards without stretching the skin. Leave to absorb before your face cream.
It is used morning and evening. In the morning, let it sink in for a minute before concealer. Copper tripeptide-1 combines poorly with a pure vitamin C applied at the same time: if you use one, keep it for the morning and reserve this eye cream for the evening.
Which skin is it for?
This care is for eyes marked by tiredness or dehydration, for first fine lines and for people who find eye creams too rich. Its ingredient list contains no fragrance.
It is not suitable if you avoid ingredients of animal origin. If you have a known allergy to molluscs or dust mites, test it first on the inside of the wrist. To complete your routine, see our anti-ageing and firmness selection.

Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from the Snail 92 cream in the same range?
The Snail 92 is a cream for the whole face. This eye cream adds peptides and a texture measured for a thin area, where a richer cream can cause puffiness or migrate into the eye.
Can I apply it to the moving eyelid?
No. Stay on the bone around the eye and below the lash line. The cream migrates on its own to neighbouring areas through the day.
Is it effective on dark circles?
It hydrates and smooths the area, which gives a more rested look. However, pigmented or hollow dark circles do not disappear with a cream: a concealer remains the best ally.
Can I combine it with a retinol for the eyes?
It is better to alternate evenings than to layer two active products on such thin skin. Keep this one for the morning if you use a retinol in the evening.
How long do the 25 ml last?
With a grain of rice per eye morning and evening, the amount covers several months of use.
A discreet care that quickly finds its place between serum and cream, for fresher-looking eyes over the weeks.
