In the evening, a last layer of gel is spread with a brush or with your fingertips, dries in a quarter of an hour and becomes a flexible, almost invisible film. You fall asleep with it on. A collagen night mask that works by occlusion
The film does most of the work. By limiting evaporation throughout the night, it keeps in the skin the water supplied by your evening routine and by the mask's humectants, including hyaluronic acid. A word of honesty about collagen. Applied to the skin, it does not cross the epidermis and does not restart the collagen production of the dermis: the molecule is far too large. How to use it
After cleansing, apply your toner then, if you wish, a hydrating serum. Spread an even layer of the mask over the face, avoiding the eyebrows, the hairline, the eyes and the lips. Leave to dry for about fifteen minutes before going to bed. In the morning, gently peel off the film or rinse with lukewarm water. Two to three evenings a week is enough. On retinol or acid exfoliant evenings, leave it aside: under an occlusive film, these actives can become irritating.
Which skin it suits
Dehydrated or dull skin, or skin marked by tiredness, and combination skin that finds creamy night masks too heavy. Sensitive skin can try it on a small area first. It is not suitable for damaged or raw skin, nor for anyone who dislikes the feel of a film that tightens slightly as it dries.
