How it unfolds

Grapefruit opens bitter and bright, ginger adds its bite, bergamot rounds things off. It is a clean start, with no sugar, very legible.

The heart is aromatic: sage, rosemary and geranium around an aquatic note. This combination is the signature of modern “clean” masculine fragrances — it evokes sea air and fresh grass rather than a flower.

The base rests on ambroxan, a synthetic material that reproduces the effect of ambergris: mineral, salty, slightly sweet. It is what gives that impression of a trail that “clings to the skin”, reinforced here by cistus, a warm, slightly leathery resin.

Who it is for, and when

Masculine-leaning, wearable on women by those who like aromatic fresh fragrances. It is a fragrance for active days — office, sport, weekend — and for the warm season, although the ambery base lets it carry through mid-season.

How to use

Three to four sprays: aromatic fresh fragrances need a more generous dose than orientals to go the distance.
Do not rub your wrists — grapefruit and ginger are the most volatile notes.
On moisturized skin, the citrus phase lasts noticeably longer.
Store the bottle away from light and heat: citrus notes suffer first.
