Kenzie Irish Vanilla completes the vanilla Kenzie fragrances from Volaré, in 100 ml. The “Irish” qualifier points to a creamy imagery — that of Irish whiskey cream — rather than to a provenance.

How it unfolds

Rum opens: a boozy note, warm and slightly sweet, that immediately announces the register. Vanilla is present from the top, which is rare — it is usually reserved for the base.

The heart is the most loaded passage: crème brûlée for the caramelized side, tonka bean for almond and cut hay, spices and leather to keep the whole from becoming a simple dessert. Rose moves into the background.

The base brings back wood and earth: patchouli, oud, amber and musk, with brown sugar extending the sweetness. These dark materials give the fragrance its staying power and keep it from remaining purely gourmand.
