Tarteel Gold by Arabian Oud, in 75 ml, is a complete oriental in the strict sense: fifteen materials spread over three tiers, with a five-note base that carries most of the perfume. A composition from a Saudi house, in the most classic tradition of the genre.

How it develops
Saffron arrives at the same time as the citrus, which is the signature of Gulf orientals: where a Western perfume would start with a fresh water, Tarteel Gold immediately lays a leathery spice under the lemon.
The heart is the richest part. The rose-cinnamon accord is what gives the warmth, orris root brings the powder and an almost velvety texture, orange blossom lightens. It is a long phase, and the one you identify.
The base is a textbook oriental: oud for the smoky wood, patchouli for the earth, vanilla to soften it, ambergris for the saline depth, musk to bind everything. A dense base that lasts long and leaves a clear trace on fabric.
For whom, when
Unisex in traditional Gulf use, even if the rose-oud accord is often perceived as feminine in Europe. Cold season and evenings: a low-temperature perfume that quickly becomes invasive in heat. One to two sprays are plenty.
How to wear it
One spray at the base of the neck, one on the inside of a wrist. Do not reapply during the day.
One spray on a coat or scarf lasts several days.
On moisturised skin, longevity is noticeably better.
