Anua is the Korean brand of heartleaf — Houttuynia cordata, a plant known for its soothing effect on red, irritated and blemish-prone skin. A routine with Anua

Morning: Heartleaf Toner, niacinamide serum, PDRN cream, then sunscreen. Evening: cleanse, Heartleaf Toner, azelaic acid serum on redness days, PDRN cream. The mist replaces nothing during the day but complements everything when air conditioning or heating dries the skin. As with any active: introduce one at a time, over about two weeks.

Anua is first the brand of sensitive, red and reactive skin — hence the heartleaf. The PDRN line addresses dry and tight skin, the niacinamide and azelaic acid serums combination and blemish-prone skin with dark spots. All products are fragrance-free.
