Delilah is one of Maison Alhambra's feminine fruity florals, in a lavish bottle and box designed to be given. The composition is built on a juicy fruit opening, a romantic rose heart and a soft woody-musky base — a very popular structure in women's perfumery, treated here with a tart rhubarb note that keeps it from being ordinary.

How it develops

It opens on a sunny citrus that gives tone to the air. Lychee, juicy and tropical, brings an obviously feminine touch, while rhubarb adds green, acidic notes through a very soft, original scent. The floral notes that follow create a light, fresh and creamy musky impression that the rose softens into a romantic mood. Finally, the woody notes bring a measured, dry warmth, and the musk rounds it all off, holding the fruity and floral notes together.

For whom, when

A feminine perfume for daytime and mid-seasons; spring and summer suit its fruity opening, the vanilla and cashmere base keeps it comfortable in autumn. Two to three sprays on the pulse points; do not rub your wrists, the lychee and rhubarb are the most fragile notes.
