Rasasi was founded in Dubai in 1979 and is today one of the best-known houses of the Gulf. Its Hawas line built its reputation in Europe: fresh, aromatic men's scents over citrus, apple and amber, with a longevity that far exceeds their price bracket.

• Hawas For Him — the original: bergamot, apple and marine notes over a base of ambergris and cedarwood. The most versatile of the line.
• Hawas Ice — the cold, mineral reading of the same accord: iced apple, Italian bergamot and lemon, star anise, orange blossom, plum and cardamom, over moss, driftwood, amber and musk.
• Hawas Fire — the spicy-woody, denser version: clary sage, Egyptian jasmine and marine note, ambergris and mineral notes. For evenings and the cold season.
• Hawas Tropical — the fruity, sunny twist with coconut and exotic notes.
• Hawas Elixir — mugwort and bergamot, dark chocolate and lavender, white musk: the richest concentration of the line, with the deepest trail and the longest lasting power.

Which Hawas to choose

For Him is the safe entry point and works all year. Ice for summer and hot days, Fire for winter and evenings, Tropical for holidays, Elixir for those who know the accord and want more density. All five are men's scents also worn by women who like fresh woody fragrances.

How to wear it

Three sprays are reasonable for the fresh versions, two for Fire and Elixir. The ambergris and cedar base lasts six to eight hours on skin, longer on clothes. Do not rub your wrists together after applying.
