Tahara Musk

Musk tahara is an alcohol-free white musk applied directly to clean skin. The word comes from Arabic — tahara, purity: in the Gulf it is the musk worn after washing, alone or under a perfume. It comes as a 12 ml roll-on, as a concentrate of a few millilitres and, from Mamlakat Al Oud, as a 100 ml eau de parfum.

Natural or scented

• Natural tahara — the white musk alone, cottony and powdery: Musc tahara naturel by Gris Montaigne, Musc Tahara Blanc by Surrati, Musk Tahara CPO by Hamidi as a concentrate, Musc Blanc Intime by El Nabil in 6 ml. The choice when you want the smell of cleanliness with nothing added.

How to use it

On clean, dry skin: a drop or a stroke of the roll-on on the wrists, the base of the neck, behind the ears. Without alcohol it does not sting and does not evaporate; it settles and stays for hours, longer on clothes. The trail deliberately stays close to the body. Under an eau de parfum it extends its longevity.

Which format

The 12 ml roll-on is the usual format and lasts for months. 3 or 6 ml to try or to travel. Hamidi's 15 ml concentrate is denser: one drop is enough. The 100 ml eau de parfum for those who want to spray and be noticed at a distance.
