Candid Vanilla announces its vanilla right from the label, in the Kenzie series from Volaré and in 100 ml. A fully embraced gourmand orientation.

Fragrance pyramid

How it unfolds

Vanilla is present from the top — which is rare, as it is usually reserved for the base — alongside the candied pear and the marshmallow. The violet brings its powder and the ylang-ylang its creamy side. The entry is therefore already fully gourmand.

The heart goes further: caramel, dragée (sugar-coated almond), with jasmine for the flower and labdanum, a warm, ambery resin, to keep the whole from becoming a simple candy.

The base brings back wood and earth: tonka bean, sandalwood, cashmere wood and patchouli. It is this foundation that gives the fragrance its staying power and its thickness.

Who it’s for, and when

Feminine. Autumn and winter: gourmands do not cope well with strong heat, which amplifies the sugar and makes the sillage heavy.
