Lail Maleki Moroccan Blue — Lattafa, 100 ml eau de parfum

Lail Maleki Moroccan Blue is Lattafa's tribute to Morocco: a perfume conceived as a garden or an orchard of that country, from the red gold of saffron to the orange blossom of its gardens, on a woody base that recalls Atlas cedar and the blue town of Chefchaouen.

How it develops

Saffron gives its orientalism from the start, warm and leathery, followed by a bright, acidic citrus note and a blend of spices that honour Moroccan cooking. In the heart, orange blossom — the flower of Morocco par excellence — unfolds a floral scent with fruity contours that balances the perfume, while a dry, warm cedar and a pure white jasmine give it structure. At the end of the day, sandalwood, mysterious and warm, takes over from the cedar; musk captures the orange blossom and citrus with its round exoticism, patchouli adds its camphorated character, and amber balances everything with its balsamic breath.

Unisex. All year, with a preference for evenings and the cool season when the oud and amber base expresses itself best. Two sprays on the pulse points; do not rub your wrists.
