Milani Red Apple belongs to the Milani series from Volaré, offered in 100 ml. The name announces the axis of the composition plainly: red apple is the lead note, and it is the one you identify at the first spray.
The red apple register
In perfumery, red apple has nothing in common with green apple. Where green is sharp, cutting, almost vegetal, red is round and candied — closer to candy and ripe fruit than to the orchard. It is a note that naturally pairs with warm, vanilla bases, which explains why it comes up so often in Gulf fragrances, where the fruit serves as a gateway to an oriental base.
It is also a very legible note, which is noticed immediately: compositions led by red apple are rarely discreet, and that is generally what is asked of them.
The bottle
Lacquered red and ribbed, ringed with gold at the base and neck, with a flared gold cap and an engraved plate on the front. The Milani series is recognized by this wide, low silhouette, the color of the bottle signaling the version. 100 ml spray.
How to use
Two sprays on the pulse points — base of the neck, inside of the wrist.
Do not rub your wrists together: this breaks the top notes.
A spray on a collar or scarf extends the trail well beyond the day.
On moisturized skin, staying power is better. Keep the bottle away from light, neither on a windowsill nor in a humid bathroom.
