Bakhoor Oudh Nasaem 60 g — Nabeel
Oudh Nasaem is a bakhoor from the house of Nabeel, from its Heritage collection. Placed on a glowing charcoal or in an electric burner, it releases a scented smoke that perfumes the room, clothes and fabrics. Nabeel classes it in the floral, sandalwood and woody family: a wide bouquet of flowers set on woods, with agarwood in the base.
Fragrance pyramid
- Top notes: aldehydes, pineapple, plum, tarragon, lime, bergamot, saffron
- Heart notes: orchid, rose, geranium, jasmine, lily of the valley, iris
- Base notes: cedarwood, guaiac wood, agarwood, sandalwood, patchouli, nagarmotha, white musk, tonka bean, ambergris
How it unfolds
Under heat, the volatile notes leave first: pineapple and plum, lifted by saffron and citrus. The bouquet of rose, jasmine and iris then takes over. When the smoke settles, it is the woods that remain on textiles: sandalwood, cedar and agarwood, rounded by musk and tonka bean.
Who it’s for, and when
To scent the house before guests arrive, for celebrations and family gatherings, or to perfume a coat, a scarf, curtains. Unisex, it suits every season.
How to use
Place the mabkhara (incense burner) on a stable, heat-resistant surface. When the charcoal is covered with white ash, place a small piece of bakhoor on it. Pass clothes over the smoke, at a safe distance. Ventilate during and after burning, and let the burner cool before handling it.
